Objectives:

The purpose of this workshop is to provide review authors with an overview of the new features of Review Manager (RevMan) 5.3 software. At the end of the workshop, participants will have been introduced to the new features in RevMan 5.3 and received practical tips in use of the software.

Description:

RevMan is the Cochrane Collaboration’s software used by review authors in writing systematic reviews in the Cochrane format. The latest version, RevMan 5.3, has been updated with a host of new and improved features. Guidance to authors about MECIR (Methodological Expectations of Cochrane Intervention Reviews) is available in RevMan 5.3. It is now possible to include the 'Risk of bias' (RoB) summary table in forest plots. Reference IDs have been increased from 25 to 50 characters. The latest version of RevMan also includes a new review type, 'Flexible reviews', which can be used as a template for other review types, e.g. Fallout 4 1.10.20 patch download. qualitative and prognosis reviews. An additional feature is that a 'backup' copy of a review can be created within Archie while keeping the review checked out.
